He has to make rajini fans happy and at the same time he has to make his fans and neutrals happy and also it must reflect the sci-fi theme and foremost it should suit shankar’s granduer.
#Pettai rap movie
Almost all ARR songs including the recent CWG song initially gets this type of mixed response but anyway i am very much sure that this album is going to make big once the movie releases… Doing music for this type of movie is not at all easy. I am not at all nonplussed with the response this album is receiving. But overall, Rahman’s tunes, Vairamuthu’s lyrics and the mental images of Rajni’s performance and Shankar’s picturization do help the album achieve the difficult task of meeting the huge expectations.ġ7 responses so far 17 Responses to “Enthiran Audio” It can’t be called an unqualified success with its two standout numbers and two good songs. With a combination like Rajni-Shankar-ARR, the Enthiran album definitely came with tremendous expectations attached to it. Chitti Dance Showcase… is simply an even more techno version of Boom Boom Robot…. Yogi sounds like he does in all songs with his rap bit. Boom Boom Robot… is pretty strong on techno sounds and the simple, catchy tune and lyrics make it sound like it is targeted at kids. While the way Kilimanjaro and Mohenjadaro have been employed in the rhymes is pretty neat, the rest of the lyrics are standard-issue. Hariharan provides a lot of energy with his voice modulations and Vairamuthu as usual lets his imagination run wild talking about kAmutra kaNinis and silicon singams (the lyrics ostensibly sing the robot’s praises though we all know who the song’s really talking about when it goes ivan Paerai sonnadhum perumai sonnadhum kadalum kadalum kai thattum :)) Kilimanjaro… is a standard duet with the instruments and strong beats giving a tribal feel. Arima Arima… kicks off with some royal sounds and maintains it throughout the song.
#Pettai rap Bluetooth
Madhan Karky has fun with rhymes(memory-il kumari) and brings in everything from binary to bluetooth as he describes the robot experiencing love. Rahman’s voice is perfect for mechanical male voice and even the song’s structure, flowing rather continuously without any discernible interlude, suggests something robotic. Irumbile Oru Idhayam… blends romance and robot beautifully. Vijay Prakash has a voice that hovers somewhere between being deep and sounding drunken and it does the remarkable task of making Shreya Ghoshal sound rather ordinary.

Kaadhal ANukkaL… is a wonderfully addictive number. Vairamuthu comes up with some interesting descriptions( aaN petravan aaNmagan, thandhai mozhi) and a sprinkling of philosophy( thandhira manidhan vaazhvadhillai, endhiran veezhvadhillai) as the first stanza has the scientist singing about the machine while the second has the robot addressing his creator. Its amazing how smooth and youthful he sounds even now. Pudhiya Manidhaa… feels like a poetry recital for a while and its only SPB’s entry that gives the song a boost.
