The "VIP section" only requires that you're logged in to the site, which is probably required to make a purchase anyway. I've purchased multiple game from GMG and never had any problem whatsoever.
If they are getting their keys from the grey market, that makes them no worse than G2A, which people around here will defend to the death. The fact that they are often able to undercut all other authorized sources is a cause for wonder, at least. They are believed to be an authorized reseller, but there have been rumors linking them to grey market sources ( link). To be honest, I'm not sure what the deal is with GMG. ( I' m at work so can stay on a site like GMG for long without risking being discover!) I clicked the link and it's showing $39.99, but 1 questions. Why did MEC say for VIP members? Or can I just make an account and it will give me a uplay key on March 1? For $40, I'll buy it tonight! Since you both said GMG I'm guessing it's legit (never heard much about it off these forums lol).
GMG has been awesome for decent sales on brand new titles - usually 25-35% off even before release date. After 6-months to a year, you'll see it on sale for 30% off or more. They give you a Uplay key (not steam), but that really doesn't bother me.īrand new games typically take a few months before they go on sale and it's usually only about 25% off at that point. I pre-ordered (OH NO!!! ) through GMG (green man gaming) because they have it on sale for 33% off right now for VIP (members). So new question! Do you think it will drop anytime soon in general? I already got poopooed in the face with GTAV and, more recently, Fallout 4 where both dropped fast.
